Oh, you could buy those seperately... I bouht that version too because it was cheaper and I like large print. The only one I can find in the original version witht he Michael Whelan art cover in stores is Dragonquest- which is my favorite of that trilogy. Dragonflight was the first one I read... but I dont remember it 100%, I read it in 6th grade

I have never heard of Wen Spencer. Of the novels involving pern there are 16(again if I counted correctly... I checked her web site.... I talked with her a couple of times several years back... Anne is pretty cool.) Then again there is the dragonriders of pern book that is actually three books put into one... which I have. ^_^ Old, in half and one page missing(I think... hope not) and bound by a rubberband o_O It was my first book that I read. My sister got it for me. ^_^

WAY more. I have them all (got em for christmas) Just dont have time to read them... and Freedom's Landing and all those are better. Have you read Wen Spencer's books? She reminds me alot of McCaffrey in writing style, but not so much in storylines. I finished a book by her a month ago... Right now I"m reading The Dead Zone by Stephen King, I'll be done in a few days... maybe afterwards I'll start Moreta.

Naw, I have them all on my bookcase... jsut no time to read them. The ones I havent read are Dragonseye, Moreta: Dragonlady of Pern, Nerilka's Story, Dragondrums, Dolphins of Pern, Skies of Pern, and All the Weyrs of Pern. I haven't read a Pern book for a while...

There are if I have counted correctly 16 novels and two books with short stories(though I think there is only one pernese related story in both those books). Also there is Todd McCaffrey's which I think is yet to be released... I have to go back and look that up to see when. So you, my friend, needs to find out which books you haven't read and go read them ^_^ I assure you it will be well worth it. Though the last book was somewhat disappointing... Oh well. It was good, but not as good as I expected to be.

If I am correct... there are more than nine DRoP books.

I'vbe read nine of the DRoP books, the first Acorna, the first "Freedom's Landing", and some random short stories from my friend's collection.
